The restaurant unfortunately closed since August 2018 due to illness. Hopefully, the operator will soon be better again and he can reopen the great refreshment with the beautiful view over the Thuringian basin.

After reunification, the building stood empty for seven years and remained unused. In 1999, the Franz / Lange family reopened the "Nice View" as a day trip restaurant after loving restoration. Unfortunately currently closed.
