Tauchersreuth (110 inhabitants) - the village on the mountain. At the north-eastern end of the Kalchreuth-Tauchersreuther ridge with 436 vertical meters, Tauchersreuth is the highest town in the city Lauf. Namesake of 1109 first mentioned in the document was probably a certain Tuchan, a settler who made the area usable after clearing.
