Cycling along Kalenbergergracht of a few km. with beautiful homes. Until the construction of a road in 1959, Kalenberg was only accessible by boat. It was mainly home to reed cutters. Throughout Europe, Kalenberger reed was considered the best reed for covering roofs. To this day, reeds are still cut here.
