Mountain biking

The Piwonka-Johannes Chapel stands on the banks of the Pielach River in Hofstetten-Grünau. It was donated in 1911 by Josef and Barbara Piwonka, as evidenced by the inscription above the door. The initials "J. B. Piwonka," located at the bottom of the door, commemorate the donors.

Architecturally, it is a neo-Gothic wayside chapel with a pointed-arch portal, a simple gable roof, and a pale yellow facade with white trim. Inside is a statue of Saint John Nepomuk, the patron saint against water hazards—a reference to its location near the bridge over the Pielach.
