It was an impressive wooden hotel, the Neroberghotel, which burned up here twice in 1986 and 1989 and was then in such danger of collapsing that it had to be torn down. Unfortunately, the tower is now only the last remnant. When the hotel on the Neroberg burned on May 25, 1989, no one wanted to believe it was a coincidence: it was a financial blow to the city....
