    Mountain biking

Beautiful, very varied singletrack to ride, one of the longest in the entire Monte Arsenti trail area. Almost four kilometers of pure fun, and an alternation of different driving styles. Technical at times but nothing complicated.

Simply fantastic trail. Very long, a mix of trail types. The upper part is more rocky and technical, before becoming more and more flowy. Curves, supports, raises, banks. Really vast and fun. an absolute must do!

My favorite descent from Monte Arsenti, fun and suitable for all levels. Very long and perfect for returning to Massa Vecchia.

Embark on the Monte Arsenti da Massa Marittima — Giro ad anello, a popular mountain biking loop in Tuscany known for its diverse terrain and scenic beauty. This moderate ride covers 9.0 miles (14.4 km) with a total elevation gain of 1462 feet (446 metres), typically taking around 1 hours and 34 minutes to complete. You will navigate natural trails and technical sections through hilly landscapes and dense Turkey Oak forests, enjoying the varied experience from smooth flow to more challenging enduro tracks. From the summit of Monte Arsenti, you can take in impressive 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding area, including ancient mining sites.

To make the most of your visit, consider utilizing the shuttle service often provided by local associations like Trail Brothers Tuscany, which can take you to the summit. At the shuttle drop-off point, you will find a warming hut equipped with tools, coffee, and snacks, enhancing your riding experience. The mild climate in this region allows for mountain biking year-round, so you can plan your adventure almost any time.

This trail stands out as the most popular mountain bike route in the Massa Marittima region, part of a larger network where Monte Arsenti functions as a dedicated bike park. The area is celebrated for its well-maintained trails and excellent infrastructure, offering options for various skill levels. While this loop is moderate, the wider network includes everything from easy flow trails like "Insoglio" to demanding "black line" descents such as "Rock'n Roll Queen," ensuring there is something for every rider.
