In the normal position, the eleven-meter-long and 1.60-meter-wide steel bridge is open to pedestrians and cyclists. To use the whitewater course, the canoeists turn it by hand in the direction of flow of the Schwarze Wasser. At the same time, the path is blocked off by barriers.
