Hiking

The seesaws at the village of Egerpohl. The place is divided into three separate settlement areas. In the area of the village run the Langensiefen, Haufer Bach and the Hammergraben Egerpohl, which flow into the Wupper. The Hammergraben near Ibach is diverted from the Wupper and flows back into the Wupper at the level of the neighboring Niederwipper.

The place was first mentioned in 1548. A "Johan van dem Egerpoule" is mentioned in a register of the elderly of the Catholic parish of Wipperfürth.
