Authentic bread oven next to the Hollandhuis (now a holiday home). This bread oven
was restored to its former glory using the time-honored method of bricks and loam. Hazel branches were cut locally to reinforce the dome and woven into the loam. The branches wrap around the oven's brickwork like a woven basket, forming the base for the straw loam plugs that surround it. Inside, the old Tournai slate tile has been replaced.
