It is the old tram route that connected Como to Lecco, inaugurated at the beginning of the twentieth century. Today, between the municipalities of Tavernerio and Como, the ancient Solzago-Camnago tram route remains, entirely pedestrian and cycle path. A beautiful walk of about 2 km with a constant slope that does not make it challenging, a route in perfect condition and shaded in summer.

Nice path on the former tramway that connected Como and Erba. You avoid the busy roads between Como and Solzago by following a path in the greenery, also suitable for gravel bikes.
The complete itinerary from Como involves taking via Pannilani (with very low traffic) and reaching Camnago Volta. The former tramway path leading to Solzago starts from here.
