It is constructed of steel and glass, which was an innovative design for the time and makes it an early example of modern architecture.
The name "Hanavský" comes from the Hanava family, who financed the pavilion.
From the pavilion, there is a spectacular panoramic view of Prague's Old Town, the Vltava River, Prague Castle, and the Charles Bridge.
