The Saint-Maudet chapel was built in the 15th century then enlarged during the 17th century. It was built of cut stone, schist and granite. Gauguin repeatedly made him his model in his works.

A beautiful chapel, but unfortunately it was closed on a Wednesday outside of the season. To the left of it, horses and donkeys graze, and to the right, an alpaca stood in the meadow.
