Duthie Hill Park Trailhead – High School Trail loop from Issaquah

    840m

This mountain biking loop from Issaquah takes you deep into the Duthie Hill Mountain Bike Park, a sprawling 120-acre network of trails nestled within a dense evergreen forest on the Sammamish Plateau. You'll experience a mix of singletrack through lush woods and rolling terrain, with the park's central clearing acting as a hub to access various routes. The well-built trails drain quickly, making it a reliable destination even after a good rain, and you can expect a diverse riding experience from flowy sections to more technical challenges.

To tackle this moderate 24.1-mile (38.8 km) route, plan for about 3 hours and 48 minutes of riding, including 2747 feet (837 metres) of elevation gain. The Duthie Hill Park Trailhead is your starting point, easily accessible from Issaquah, and offers ample parking. Thanks to the park's excellent drainage, you can enjoy these trails year-round, but checking trail conditions beforehand is always a good idea.

Duthie Hill is renowned for its community-driven design and maintenance, largely supported by the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance. This commitment has created a park that caters to all skill levels, from beginner-friendly trails like “Honey Badger” to advanced jump lines in the “Flowpark.” The park also connects to Grand Ridge Park to the south, offering even more extensive riding opportunities for those looking to extend their adventure.
