The Pontifical Swiss Guard is a combination of tradition and modernity. Under his traditional Renaissance uniform is a young, modern and well-educated Swiss. These young people share the firm conviction that the Church of Jesus Christ and the Successor of Peter deserve commitment even at the cost of their own lives if necessary. Furthermore, they are united by a certain taste for adventure in an international environment, for camaraderie, for learning a profession in the field of security, for the intensity of their faith, for learning new languages and for getting closer to Italian culture.
