Road cycling

The bike trail was nice, but from looking at the map I thought we would be able to see the lake. Since there are big houses on the other side of the lake, I guess they didn't want people looking at them, so they built a big berm with trees on it that blocks the view of the water and the houses from the bike path.

The Mayowood Trail around Bamber Lake is a lovely traffic free path to cycle on. As it is close to the lake you get the chance to look out for the varied bird and insect species that live around the lake.
