Running
If you want to enjoy the panoramic views of the Grand Chalet de Rossinière, the largest wooden house in Switzerland, it is best to time your run in the morning or evening, when the light is softer and the crowds fewer. You will be blown away by the nature and history of this magnificent place, where the famous painter Balthus lived and worked.

Hiking
The “crazy” thing about the Grand Chalet: It has a whopping 113 windows! It is privately owned and cannot be visited. But you can also get an idea of its size from the outside!
