This section of highway presents a slower and quieter route between the coast and the valley. However, it has much more narrow sections than the busier Highway 126. That being said you'll be rewarded with plenty of access to the Siuslaw River with multiple pullouts and picnic areas. You'll also be riding through a lot of rural towns and dense forest.
