The 13th-century St. Ambrose Church is a beautiful single-nave church with Romanesque-Gothic features. It is located near the Upper City Gate, where the Benedictine monastery of St. Ambrose once stood, the original building of which was mentioned as early as 941. The church got its current appearance after renovation in 1992.
