During a siege of the city, the fate of the citizens was to be decided by a dice game. After the opponent had already rolled the extremely high number of 17, defeat seemed certain. The city's representative rolled the highest possible number, 18 (three sixes), thereby saving the city and forcing the besiegers to retreat.
