One of the most important pieces of the convent was the cenotaph of its founder, María Dávila, made of alabaster by Vasco de la Zarza. After the convent was abandoned in 1971, this cenotaph was moved to the new convent. The convent was declared a National Monument in 1991. ⛪🚶♂️🌞
