Hiking
The lock is 100 meters long and 12 meters wide, like almost all locks on the Upper Meuse.
The dam is electromechanical with an upstream lift of 90.97 meters. It consists of four openings.
In 2017, the lock was completely overhauled, and the doors were removed for three weeks.
Every five years, the locks between the French border and Namur undergo maintenance. Shipping is suspended during this time, and mooring is also prohibited.
