The Stöpen to Ostersiel is used for drainage, for example after a land submergence (flooding) of Hallig Hooge. The Hallig Hooge creek is also naturally drained here. In addition, from here you have a beautiful scenic view of the Hallig Hooge, including the Backenswarft and the Stock (old Hallig Hooge bridge) in the immediate vicinity.
