The church boasts a robust tower from the 14th century, while the nave and choir were built during the Austrian period, around 1782-1786. Inside, we find works of art from various centuries, including a 13th-century baptismal font, a marble altar with a painting of the Calvary, and various statues from the 16th to the 18th centuries.

Classical pseudo-basilica, built 1782-1786, commissioned by J.B. Cogels, adjoining the late Rheno-mosan tower from the 14th century. Until the 1930s, the cemetery was located north of the church, on the site of the current parking lot.

The plan describes a three-aisled nave of five bays with a protruding west tower, and a choir of two straight bays with a three-sided closure. The building has a pure east-west orientation.
