Johannes Brahms – composer, 1833–1897 – Vienna Central Cemetery – Group 32 A – No. 26. Tombstone by Ilse Conrat, unveiled in 1903. Johann Strauss (1825–1899) wrote the world-famous waltz "The Blue Danube," the unofficial anthem of Austria. He was laid to rest in an honorary section of the Central Cemetery, near Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, and Strauss Sr. The tombstone is by Josef Benk.
