King penguins, the heraldic animals of the Wuppertal Zoo, are rarely kept in zoos and only here in North Rhine-Westphalia. The special highlight is a 15-meter-long acrylic glass tunnel under the water surface - unique for penguins worldwide! Admire the swimming and diving skills of the penguins from an unusual perspective. You can hear the calls of the gentoo penguins via microphones.
