You can expect to complete this peaceful journey in about 1 hour and 30 minutes. As you explore, you'll discover a diverse landscape featuring sections of forest, marsh, and restored prairie, including the largest contiguous forest in Allen County. Keep an eye out for wetland birds near Fox Island Pond, where you can enjoy tranquil views. The trail also holds a charming surprise: whimsical 'wood spirits' carved into trees along the Tree Trail, adding a unique touch to your adventure.
This accessible loop is ideal for families and offers a welcoming experience for all visitors. Some sections of the trail are even groomed, making them suitable for three-wheeled jogging strollers. The park features an excellent Nature Center with interactive exhibits, which is a great starting point for your visit.
