The Catholic rectory was built in 1883 in the late Baroque style under Pastor Erasmus Hurth. In 1856, Pastor Schmitz had the coach house added on the north side, which was later supplemented by a parish hall. After an extensive renovation in 2002, the rectory, with its library, parish hall, and gastronomy, is a popular place for the residents of Monreal and visitors alike.
