At the end of Munkegade you will find the city gate-like water tower from 1911.
The tower itself is built of chalk from Stevns Klint, but with a red brick base. Through the portal you reach the complex "Munkevænget" from the end of the 19th century. From the water tower there is a magnificent view of large areas of the Stevns Peninsula.
