Directly on the "church forecourt" of San Pietro in Mavino stands the war memorial in the form of the "Bell of the Fallen" (in Italian "Campana dei Caduti"). The bell is called "La Julia" and it rings at sunset to commemorate the fallen soldiers of the Second World War.
