The gently sloping meadow valley offers a magnificent view of the Mont Blanc massif and the glaciers that tower above it on the opposite side of the valley.
Unfortunately, as of today (2023), the size of the glaciers is no longer as impressive as in the past. A large reduction, clearly visible to the naked eye, gives the unsettling sight of bare rock left naked by the melting of the perpetual glaciers
