During a walk in the park of the Alte Abtei, you will find rare exotic trees as well as the oldest sacred building in the Greater Region, the Alte Turm with its octagonal floor plan. The structure, over 1000 years old, was built as a burial chapel for St. Luitwinus and has been extensively restored in recent years.
