The Königsbau Stuttgart was built in the mid-19th century in late-classicist style and forms the western boundary of Schlossplatz. Destroyed during the war, the former business building was rebuilt in 1958/59.

The impressive colonnade of 34 columns has a length of 135 meters and characterizes the entire building. Once upon a time there were magnificent Hoffe eggs - today, cafes and enjoyment invite you. And behind the Königsbau today lures the shopping center Königsbau Passagen Stuttgart with 25,000 square meters of retail space and restaurants.
