Hiking
"Come on, let's go feed the deer!" is something we often hear from visitors when they enter our spacious fallow deer enclosure. Fallow deer are frequently mistaken for roe deer.
Fallow deer are among the native deer species, but they differ considerably from the other two in size/weight, coat color – even the adults have spots – and antlers (shovel-shaped).
And – something many visitors don't know – no roe deer are kept at the Grafenberg Wildlife Park. They occur naturally throughout our forests and can therefore be observed outside the park.

Only the female animals are kept in the outdoor enclosure. The fallow deer are found in a separate enclosure diagonally opposite the wild boars.
