The facility is located in the Kiedrzyn district on Hill 267. In September 1939, it was on the defense line of the 3rd Battalion of the 27th Infantry Regiment commanded by Maj. Stanisław Kulik-Langa, it was manned by soldiers from the 3rd heavy machine gun company of the 3rd battalion. In the late afternoon of September 2, the shelter helped repel a strong German attack by units of the 2nd Armored Regiment and 14th Infantry Division.
