Enchanting vegetation in May, wild herbs and shrubs everywhere, lots of flowers, a few goats, very quiet, buzzing of bees, beautiful views, START is at the monastery, the route recording here starts later.
Attention: the path has hardly any shade, the wide road is very bumpy, very coarse gravel or earth, the directions in the Dumont travel guide are very good. The café in Pikris is closed, water is available in the courtyard of the church from a garden hose. In Amenathos, the small bus picked us up at 4:20 p.m.
