From this vantage point you can admire the spectacular head of the Orfento Valley, with the majestic peaks of Blockhaus, Monte Focalone, Monte Rotondo and Pescofalcone standing out in the background. On one side the path climbs towards the Balcony of S. Maria in the direction of the Ponte della Pietra, while on the other, a short stretch leads to the Centiata spring.
