Here, wonderful views and moments of enjoyment inspire. There is no real tradition or historical significance to the Love Fountain. Based on an idea from Reinhold Ronacher and a few colleagues, an alpine hut, a small event area with a barbecue station and a fountain were built in the mid-1970s. The name “Fountain of Love” came about because of the idyllic location and the stimulating water quality.
The water is of the best quality and is perceived as refreshing. Many visitors drink the water and believe that it gives them strength for their further hikes.
