Hiking
After the end point of the walk do not immediately go back up. Walk right past the finca and then immediately left in the direction of another abandoned house.
Then you walk a small circle down through the crater, you come back to the Finca.

Hiking
You should definitely descend into the crater and then walk the circular trail. The path down is very slippery due to the fine scree, so you'll need to wear proper footwear. At the bottom, you'll find fantastic views of the steep crater walls. A must-visit is the Casa de Augustin.
