Hiking
One of the few wooded areas of Flevoland. One wonders when one considers that one walks on former seabed below sea level.

Hiking
The Kuinderbos is the largest and oldest forest in the Noordoostpolder. The Noordoostpolder was created in the 1940s because of the growing need for agricultural land. Not all land in the Noordoostpolder was suitable for agriculture and forests were planted here.
