After his untimely death the "Santo Spirito library" was rededicated in his name.
In 2008 the library was transferred to a historic building in Agrigento, a former notarial archive, suitably renovated, and was inaugurated on May 30 of the same year in the presence of the mayor of Agrigento Marco Zambuto, and the cultural authorities of the city of Agrigento.
