This characteristic polder and cycling café, run by Marius De Rudder, was formerly the regular meeting place for legendary Flemish artists and writers. None other than Hugo Claus and the eccentric artist Pjeroo Roobjee regularly frequented this place to enjoy the polder atmosphere and draw inspiration in peace.

Historical atmosphere: the facade with the authentic red shutters and vintage letters exudes pure nostalgia.
Beautiful location: the café is located right on popular walking and cycling routes near the Grote Geul nature reserve and the St. Janspolder.
