Great bike path (asphalt) between Piano Porlezza and Cardano (direction Menaggio). Great easy to drive route with many shady passages. ideal for avoiding the busy main road. perfect for all types of bikes (MTB to racing bike)

Road cycling

Large sections of the old railway line have been converted into a beautiful cycle path. However, some sections are not paved but rather fine gravel, and along the shores of Lago di Piano, it's more of a walking path than a cycle path.

But if you want to take a short break, you can take it easy and enjoy it in a very idyllic setting.
