The Niagara-on-the-Lake Waterfront Trail follows the shoreline where Lake Ontario meets the mouth of the Niagara River, offering a relaxed walk through one of Ontario's most picturesque waterfront settings. As the official western terminus of the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail, this section links parks, beaches, historic sites, and quiet residential streets with continuous views across the lake. The mostly flat route is easy to follow, making it ideal for a leisurely stroll while taking in the area's history, wineries, and waterfront scenery. There is no fee to access the trail.
