After a "walk" (about 30 minutes) from the summit of 'Pico Arieiro' to the Miradouro 'Ninho da Manta', this promontory offers breathtaking views of the valley of 'Ribeira da Fajã da Nogueira' and the surrounding peaks. The 'buzzard nest' is secured by a wooden fence. Nevertheless, a careful approach is recommended.
