The Markgröningen water tower was built in 1990 on the northern outskirts of Markgröningen. The 45-meter-high water tower stands to the right of the road to Unterriexingen in the Bracke area, at an altitude of 310 meters. It is used by the Markgröningen municipal waterworks to supply the inner city with drinking water. Its widely projecting reinforced concrete reservoir has a storage volume of 1000 cubic meters. Mobile phone antennas are located at the top of the tower.
