Until the 1950s, oil was produced from rapeseed, flax, nuts and beechnuts in shifts at night. During the day, lumber, parquet and packing wood was manufactured in the sawmill.
In 1964 the Mühlkanal was filled in and the oil mill was expanded. The sawmill was relocated.
