Hiking
Kallo city council complained: such a pool of 4.5 meters deep would cause 'heavy fumes' and bring about diseases! The War Department did not accede to the objection and the sand extraction pit was dug. Afterwards no one seemed to complain: many fish appeared in the 'Baarsenput' or 'Bazeput'.
