Hiking

The driveway from Queralbs with the rack railway to the Val de Nuria is a real experience, and the builders' performance is remarkable. The travel costs are relatively cheap compared to Swiss mountain railways. The railway overcomes in 20 minutes a distance of about 8km and 800Hm. On foot you need about 3 hours on the parallel hiking trail. An alternative way to reach the Val de Nuria does not exist.
