The clock is stopped at 10.25, the time when a bomb was detonated on August 2, 1980, causing the death of 85 people and injuring over 200.
Only in 1995 were the perpetrators sentenced to life imprisonment: those who set off the time bomb, contained in an abandoned suitcase.
Instead, the instigators, that is, those who planned and ordered the massacre, are still unknown.
The Bologna massacre remains the most dramatic terrorist attack in Italy since the Second World War and remains one of the great unsolved cases (the instigators being unknown and unpunished).
