Road cycling
The entire road around the peninsula is great for road cycling and bike touring. The road has bike lanes both sides and there a bike paths on and off along the the way. Views are great and from Mashan Village around to Xijing Village is more than 15km.
Not sure about traffic on a sunny weekend though. And the bike paths might get populated with pedestrians. For road cycling better stay on the road ;-)
